Creativity does not come out of nowhere, nor is there a magic formula for incorporating creativity into processes. It’s necessary to develop daily habits as be tolerant and to think outside the box, habits that will develop and help us in the moment of finding solutions.
Some behaviors favor these states, such as being optimistic, disposed to learn, not being afraid to risk, seeking external sources of inspiration or stimuli and exposing ourselves to different environments until find what gives us comfort and relaxation; the mind will free itself and wander through the disruptive associations released by dopamine.
Keep an eye on the heart of the goal, but do questions, observe, associate in every way, even to lateral, experiment and share ideas, not just with peers.
Sleep can also be conducive to unusual associations of divergent thinking and awakening creativity; however, the most important thing is to not stand still waiting to be hit by imagination or creativity, but to continue behind and work on the subject avoiding blockages.
Some techniques can help, such as using brainstorming, TRIZ or Design Thinking, attribute lists, goal windows, and setting type ratings, positive, negative, or interesting. Having a Dictaphone to dictate notes or to draw in a notebook can be decisive.
