“Employees involved in innovation and creativity processes need to cope with increased pressure. Shorter product life cycles and reduced market response time, require this capability.”

Several people, over the last few years have been saying that, more than cancer or HIV, stress is the disease of the century. In engineering, it is the stress of materials and / or structures that concentrates much of the attention and tests.

There are also those who argue that the total absence of stress induces lethargy, boredom, depression and inability to produce results; On the other hand, if day-to-day demands more and more results then we need to realize how to deal with this issue and what skills should we develop to keep balance and health.

Starting with the actions that can support us, I would say that the one with the greatest impact is the Planning, the Time Management and the correct Delegation are also important. In this way we can perceive the positive and negative routines, find the cause and effect of each one of them and work the balance.

We can also, or should, work on ourselves, with the introduction of Healthy Eating Diets, Physical Exercise and Constant Spiritual and Mental Food that help create distancing from problems and find solutions to them more easily.

For those most connected to creative, where this is more crucial, it is important to think rationally and critically about these reasons and to believe in the strengths, stand by them and seek training and development of the weakest aspects.

Adopting the right attitude can convert a negative stress into a positive one.
